True inner power arises through uniting the apparent opposites. Yoga helps us to be strong and flexible, focused & playful, intense, but not tense!

IM YOGA.

“I’m not flexible enough!” – that’s one of many excuses we hear why yoga isn’t for you. The truth is: yoga is for everybody. We need yoga especially when we are not flexible. One of the easiest ways to become flexible AND strong is: JUST DO YOGA. Flexibility is not a prerequisite for yoga, it is one of the results when we practice yoga.

IM Yoga stands for « Inner Management ». Fundamentally, in life we manage our interiority: we decide who we want to be – physically, mentally, and emotionally. Just like there is a system of management in the outside world, there is a system on the inside as well, leading to an inner wellbeing. Thanks to technology, we have reached a remarkable amount of comfort in the outer world. It is time to reach the same in our inner world! Yoga and meditation are ancient systems that can help us attain good health, a positive mind, and the discovery of our true potentials. For the business world, especially, yoga and meditation are indispensable tools for creating healthy, happy, efficient, and successful employers and employees.

Meet, Meret.

Meret is the founder of IM Yoga. A modeling job has brought her to New York, where she discovered yoga in 2003. She lived in her favorite city in the world for 8 years. Since then yoga has become her best tool to keep her body fit, her mind calm, and her emotions in balance.

As an international fashion model, Meret traveled the world for many years. Through her extensive travels, she was exposed to many different yoga styles and the local cultures and traditions surrounding them. After living a truly international life, with stints in the melting pots of New York City and Berlin and visits to several ashrams in India, Meret loves to bring people from all walks of life together. She is currently based in Lausanne, Switzerland, and gives her classes in English, French, Frenglish, German and Italian.

In 2015, Meret completed a Yoga Alliance certified Vinyasa/Ashtanga teacher training in Ubud, Bali. Meret got an additional medical training as a certified alternative practitioner, which helps her to have a better understanding of the human body and an awareness of how to adapt the practice especially for people with injuries.

 

Meet, Giulia.

Giulia is Italian and moved to Switzerland in 2019. She has been practicing yoga for many years and became a certified teacher in 2021.

For her, yoga was a transformative experience that brought a lot of balance and awareness into her life. As a consequence she specialized in yoga therapy to help people to go smoothly through challenging periods. 

In her classes simplicity and inclusivity are the mantras with the idea that less is more. She also loves the sense of humor and firmly believes in the strong power of a good laugh!

Meet, Stéphanie.

Stéphanie has been teaching tennis and yoga for many years. She loves sharing her insights and keeps evolving and discovering new styles of yoga.

Her soft voice and warm presence are very soothing during both a vigorous Vinyasa class and a calming meditation session.

From kids to the elderly - everybody feels welcome in her classes!

 

Meet, Tanya.

Tanya is a certified Hatha, Vinyasa , Kids and Yin yoga instructor.

She was born and raised in Bulgaria and worked as a nurse for several years.

When Tanya moved to Lavaux in Switzerland, she discovered yoga and was fascinated by the power of taking care of the body and the mind likewise. She sees yoga not only as an ancient science but also includes her creative side while transmitting it to others.

Tanya loves traveling and has taken several teacher trainings throughout the world.

Meet, Maï.

Maï is our Circuit HIIT Trainer!

After a few years as a professional ballerina at the Béjart Ballet and in Bordeaux, Maï got a diploma in the promotion of physical activity and health.

With her experience in ballet, Maï pays attention to the precise execution of every movement. She will guide you through safe and tailor-made training sessions!

Maï accompanies people on their individual journey to accomplishing their fitness and health goals.

Besides the weekly Circuit Training sessions, she gives our weekly Pilates mat classes every other Friday, alternating with Vanessa.
